J2 - Legal Journal is a biannual academic publication, whose mission is to disseminate scientific studies in the field of Law, across the various areas that comprise it, with a critical and progressive methodological approach, as well as interdisciplinary research correlated with the legal field, always with a view to disseminating the Portuguese language at the highest level in the community of Portuguese-speaking countries. J2 is a privileged platform for young and senior researchers, as well as university students and planners. It publishes in Portuguese as well as in English. Each article includes the title, abstract and keywords in both languages. Published twice a year, it offers immediate and free open access to its content, following the principle that scientific knowledge is available free of charge based on scientific social responsibility and knowledge transfer to society.
