Resumo: Nosso projeto de pesquisa preve uma traducao comentada do capitulo ya¿a. prabhaparivarta. do Samadhiraja Sutra, um texto (sutra) de importancia central na tradicao Mahayana da filosofia budista. Alem da recuperacao desse campo discursivo, a ser realizado no comentario a traducao do texto, tal traducao tambem requer um conhecimento do sanscrito classico e do sanscrito hibrido budista (SHB), especialmente do modo como compilado e trabalhado por Franklin Edgerton em seu Buddhist Hybrid Sanskrit Grammar and Dictionary. Sendo um trabalho que envolve conhecimento de lingua e conhecimento contextual, a traducao intercultural aqui proposta exigira comentarios que busquem desvendar, a partir do estudo sociocultural e teorico da tradicao mahayana da filosofia budista, o aspecto semantico das expressoes e conceitos abordados no texto

Abstract: Our research project proposes an annotated translation of the ya¿a. prabhaparivarta. chapter of the Samadhiraja Sutra, a text (sutra) of central importance in the Mahayana tradition of Buddhist philosophy. In addition to the retrieval of this discursive field to be carried out in the commentary to the translation of the text, such translation also requires a knowledge of classical Sanskrit and Buddhist hybrid Sanskrit (SHB), especially as compiled and worked by Franklin Edgerton in his Buddhist Hybrid Sanskrit Grammar and Dictionary. Being a work that involves knowledge of language and contextual knowledge, the intercultural translation proposed here will require comments that seek to uncover, from the sociocultural and theoretical study of the Mahayana tradition of Buddhist philosophy, the semantic aspect of the expressions and concepts addressed in the text
