Neste estudo, de modo geral, objetivamos analisar a concepção de uma professora acerca do conceito de “aluno ideal”. Na ocasião da pesquisa, atuava na educação infantil, com crianças de cinco anos de idade. Dentro dessa perspectiva, investigamos como o seu ponto de vista sobre criança e infância influenciava na sua maneira de ensinar e tratar os alunos reais que, de fato, estavam na sala de aula. Procuramos entender, de modo específico, se a infância era valorizada pela educadora dentro do seu próprio conceito de aluno ideal e quais as implicações das expectativas da educadora na relação professor-aluno e aluno-aluno. Para essa análise, trouxemos autores, tais como: Àries (1981); Del Priore (1996); Santos (2011); Oliveira (2010), entre outros, cujo enfoque recai na análise da infância ao longo dos séculos no Brasil e no mundo. Analisam, ainda, como a infância está inserida, na contemporaneidade, no contexto escolar. Optamos pela pesquisa qualitativa e, como instrumentos metodológicos, recorremos à observação participante e à entrevista semiestruturada com a professora regente. Como resultado geral, ressaltamos que havia expectativas, por parte da docente, quanto ao aluno ideal refletindo, diretamente, em suas ações didáticas e pedagógicas em sala de aula.

In this study, we seek to generally analyze the realization of a teacher surrounding the concept of “ideal student”. At the time of the research, she enacted in the education of five-year-old children. In this perspective, we investigate how her point of view about children and childhood did influence her way of teaching and treating real students that, in fact, were in classroom. We attempted to specifically understand if childhood was valued by the educator within her own concept of ideal student and were the implications of the educator’s anticipations in teacher-student and student-student relationship. For this scrutiny, we referenced authors such as Áries (1981); Del Priore (1996); Santos (2011); Oliveira (2010), among others, whose approaches focus on childhood itself through centuries in Brazil and the rest of the world. They also inquire about how childhood is inserted in the scholarship context nowadays. We opted to use qualitative research and, as methodological instruments, recurred to participant observation and semi-structured interview with the teacher. As a general result, we highlight that that were, by the instructor, expectations regarding the ideal student reflecting directly on her didactical and pedagogical actions in class.
