O presente trabalho compara A paixão segundo G.H., de Clarice Lispector, com Dom Quixote, de Miguel de Cervantes. Nesses textos, a experiência e o corpo, instâncias da negatividade ficcional, são inscritas na prosa, configuradas do sentido histórico da linguagem entre o século XVII e XX. Tal sentido concerne à cisão do signo com o mundo que ele representa, justificando certa corrente literária que tem como tema a linguagem e sua impossibilidade representativa. Defende-se que ambos os romances participam conjuntamente dessa corrente, e investiga-se o alheamento da experiência nela. Pelo conceito do figural, de Auerbach, a relação corpo/letra é estabelecida entre os personagens Quixote e G.H.
The present work compares The passion according to G.H., by Clarice Lispector, with Don Quixote, by Miguel de Cervantes. In those texts, experience and body, categories of fictional negativity, are inscribed in the prose that is configured from the historical sense of language between the seventeenth and the twentieth centuries. This sense refers to the division between sign and world, justifying a literary tendency that has as its theme the language and the representative impossibility. It is argued that both novels participate jointly in this tendency, and it is investigated the alienation from experience in it. By the concept of figural, from Auerbach, the relation body/letter is established between the characters Quixote and G.H.
