_________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT
The research aims to test how the variable migration affects the social mobility of international return migrants, from the observation of the labor market. Due to difficulties of access to studied population, the technique of “snowball” controlled by quotas was used in order to define the sample. Questionnaires were used as a data collection instrument. The influence of immigration was determined from the following indicators: education level, participation in the labor market and income, assets and investments and social capital. The data analysis indicates that the resources gotten from the immigration experience affects the labor market re-entry of migrants. Back to the origin country, they tend to assume higher paid and more prestigious positions.
