Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar a escola literária conhecida como Pré-modernismo e expor uma análise comparativa entre os livros didáticos Literatura Brasileira e Português-Linguagens 3 usados no Ensino Médio, demonstrando como esse período é reproduzido e explicado. Primeiramente, tem-se um quadro geral das atividades literárias do final do século XIX, perpassando pelo problema que o próprio termo Pré-modernismo carrega; os principais autores e a série de peculiaridades encontradas neste período. Após tal introdução, tem-se uma análise de como o período é tratado pelos livros didáticos em questão. _________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT
This article aims to present the Literary School known as Pre-modernism and present a comparative analysis of the textbooks “Literatura Brasileira” and “Português-Linguagens 3” used in high school, showing how this period is played and explained. First, there is an overview of the literary activities of the late nineteenth century, bypassing by the problem that the very term carries Pre-modernism; the main authors and the number of peculiarities found in this period. After this introduction, there is an analysis of how the period is treated by textbooks in question.
