The Judgement of Paris is likely one of the most famous mythological episodes of the western culture. However, we also know very little about the original contours of the episode. Taking advantage of the text of the Excidium Troiae, which will be presented briefly, this article will present why Paris was the hero selected to decide on the beauty of the three goddesses.
O Julgamento de Páris é provavelmente um dos episódios mitológicos mais famosos da cultura ocidental. Porém, pouco sabemos sobre os contornos originais do episódio. Recorrendo ao texto do Excidium Troiae, que será apresentado de forma breve, este artigo apresentará o porquê de ter sido Páris o herói escolhido para decidir sobre a beleza das três deusas.
