Environmental education and distance education are two fields that increasingly converge, forming new cultural networks, giving new meaning to understanding the world and contributing to horizontal practices in the construction of knowledge. In this sense, this work aims at discussing the relationship between Distance Education and Environmental Education, as well as to reflect on the need for mechanisms of qualitative assessment by sections of federal agencies. Using research, literature review and data analysis it will be possible to seek the improvement of lato sensu post-graduation courses, to ensure benefits to society and to educational, scientific and technological development.
A Educação Ambiental e a Educação a Distância são dois campos que cada vez mais passam a se encontrar, constituindo novas redes culturais, ressignificando compreensões de mundo e contribuindo com práticas horizontais na construção de saberes. Nesse sentido, este trabalho objetiva discutir a relação entre Educação a Distância e Educação Ambiental, bem como refletir sobre a necessidade de mecanismos de avaliação qualitativa por setores dos órgãos federais competentes. Por meio da pesquisa, revisão bibliográfica e análise dos dados será possível buscar o aperfeiçoamento da pós-graduação lato sensu, para garantir benefícios à sociedade e ao próprio desenvolvimento educacional, científico e tecnológico.
