O presente artigo analisa o impacto da Diretiva Serviços na legislação portuguesa no domínio das profissões e a sua aplicação às profissões turísticas, com enquadramento histórico e desafios futuros para o Direito do Trabalho. A contratação coletiva por sindicatos e associações de empregadores apresenta uma oportunidade para um melhor enquadramento das relações laborais no setor turístico. No entanto, será necessária uma melhor reformulação legislativa e uma organização mais eficaz das relações coletivas de trabalho neste setor.  

The present article analyses the impact of the Services Directive on Portuguese legislation in the field of professions, with particular reference and application to tourism professions. The article goes on to provide a historical context and future challenges for Labour Law. Collective bargaining by trade unions and employers' associations presents an opportunity for the establishment of a more effective framework for labour relations in the tourism sector. However, further legislative reform and a more effective organisation of collective labour relations in this sector will be necessary.
