With the development of bourgeois society, information has dislodged narrative: plausibility and verifyability are more important than interpretation. The technological development that has redefined space by distancing body from scene, a distance which is maintained only in drama, has given this body transcendence, through cinema, photography, and television. It has also redefined body in space itself, now cyberspace, recreating it as capable of teleactions. Cyberspace has become the stage itself where we act as citizens. In this non-space, as defined by Marc Augé, we act with dimensions that override not only space and time relationships, but also the borders of subjectivities and sociabilities.

Com o desenvolvimento da sociedade burguesa, a informação deslocou a narrativa: importa mais a plausibilidade e verificabilidade do que a interpretação. O desenvolvimento tecnológico que redefiniu o espaço ao distanciar o corpo do espetáculo, distância apenas mantida no teatro, dotou este corpo de transcendência, pelo cinema, pela fotografia, pela televisão. Redefiniu também o corpo no próprio espaço, tornado ciberespaço, recriou-o capaz de teleações. O ci-berespaço tornou-se o pró- prio palco, onde atuamos como concidadãos. Nesse não-lugar, nos termos definidos por Marc Augé, atuamos com dimensões que suplantam não apenas as relações espaço-temporais, mas também fronteiras de subjetividades e sociabilidades.
