One of the major developments in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology has been the publishing of geographic information on the Web. GIS technology is a major medium for communication between people about subjects regarding land resources. We have developed a GIS integrating all information about all resources and services of the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. In this paper we present the functionality and services available, as well as the rationale for the major technical decisions taken. Finally, some conclusions and future work will be presented.
