Revisão parcial das espécies do gênero Atractus Wagler, até o momento reconhecidas, ocorrendo nas regiões mais orientais da Amazônia (Pará e Amapá) e oeste do Maranhão. Diagnosticadas sete espécies, das quais duas são novas, outra é subespécie nova e as quatro restantes já conhecidas, porém pela primeira vez assinaladas na região. As formas novas são, A. albuquerquei, A. alphonsehogei e A. flammigerus snethlageae, enquanto as outras são, A. insipidus, A. latifrons, A. schach e A. zidoki. Algumas dessas espécies são simpátricas em certas áreas, mas A. zidoki ocorre apenas no Amapá e A. insipidus nos cerrados do altiplano do Maranhão ocidental.
Partial revision of the species of the genus Atractus Wagler, until the moment recognized, occurring in the regions most churches of the Amazon (Pará and Amapá) and west of the country. Diagnosed seven species, two of which are new, another is new subspecies and the remaining four already known, but for the first time indicated in the region. The new forms are, a. albuquerquei, a. alphonsehogei and a. flammigerus Snethlageae, while the others are, A. insipidus, A. latifrons, a. schach and a. zidoki.
