A presente dissertação versa sobre a ideia de justiça social em Friedrich August von Hayek e tem como objetivo analisar os princípios norteadores da Escola Austríaca, bem como os fundamentos que legitimam a ideia de liberdade segundo o mencionado autor. Busca-se, desse modo, compreender a evolução da ordem espontânea e a ordem de mercado das sociedades ao longo dos anos e a formação de uma sociedade de acordo com o modelo liberal, defendendo a prevalência da liberdade sobre a igualdade, além de investigar o verdadeiro significado que a expressão - justiça social tomou nos dias de hoje. Pretende-se enfatizar a contribuição de Hayek, filósofo, professor e economista, analisando suas teorias e princípios para manutenção de uma sociedade livre, defendendo a prevalência da liberdade individual.
This dissertation deals with the idea of social justice in Friedrich August von Hayek and aims to analyze the guiding principles of the Austrian School, as well as the foundations that legitimize the idea of freedom according to the author. In this way, the aim is to understand the evolution of the spontaneous order and market order of societies over the years and the formation of a society according to the liberal model, defending the prevalence of freedom over equality, as well as investigating the true meaning that the expression "social justice" has taken on these days. It is intended to emphasize the contribution of Hayek, a philosopher, professor and economist, analyzing his theories and principles for the maintenance of a free society, defending the prevalence of "individual freedom".
