Este é um estudo que tem como tema o jogo no contexto da cidade. O jogo é compreendido como manifestação universal e cultural, na medida em que está presente e se repete em qualquer existência humana e ao mesmo tempo carrega consigo traços particulares impressos por cada cultura. A cidade é entendida como obra coletiva, a base material onde a vida urbana acontece. Atualmente há um movimento em grandes centros urbanos de consolidação de coletivos culturais que lutam pela reapropriação e ressignificação dos espaços públicos urbanos. Nesse contexto, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar a constituição, organização e atuação de coletivos culturais organizados em torno de ações com jogos no contexto da cidade de São Paulo. Para tanto, lança mão de pesquisa de campo e documental, com utilização de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Fizeram parte da pesquisa quatro coletivos culturais que têm como foco ações com jogos em espaços públicos da cidade: “Aqui que a gente brinca”; “Brincantes Urbanos”; “Caravana Lúdica de Jogos Tradicionais do Mundo”; “Central dos Jogos”. Os quatro coletivos em análise formaram-se nos últimos cinco anos e realizam ocupações com jogos em espaços públicos, como praças, ruas e parques, na busca da apropriação desses espaços de maneira afetiva e lúdica. No cerne de suas ações, está a defesa da conexão entre a cidade e a dimensão lúdica nos seres humanos, de uma cidade mais brincante.

This is a study which has as its theme the game in the context of the city. The game is understood as a universal and cultural manifestation, insofar as it is present and repeated in any human existence and at the same time it carries with itself particular traits imprinted by each culture. The city is understood as a collective work, the material base where the urban life happens. At present there is a movement in large urban centers of consolidation of cultural collectives that fight for the appropriation and resignification of urban public spaces. In this context, this research aims to investigate the constitution, organization and performance of cultural collectives organized around actions with games in the context of the São Paulo city. For this, it uses field and documentary research, using semi-structured interviews. Four cultural collectives were part of the research, which focus on actions with games in public spaces of the city: “Aqui que a gente brinca”; “Brincantes Urbanos”; “Caravana Lúdica de Jogos Tradicionais do Mundo”; “Central dos Jogos”. The four collectives under analysis were formed in the last five years and they perform occupations with games in public spaces such as squares, streets and parks, in the search for appropriation of these spaces in an affective and playful way. At the heart of their actions is the defense of the connection between the city and the playful dimension of human beings, of a more playing city.
