To verify the dose-response effect of different volumes of concurrent training on inflammatory and oxidative stress parameters in post-menopausal women over 12 weeks. Methods: This randomized clinical trial done an intervention on four groups (control, 90, 150 or 210 min/week of physical exercise) of previously sedentary post-menopausal women. The protocol consisted of three sessions per week of concurrent training (half session with aerobic training and the other part with weight training). Inflammatory and oxidative parameters were analyzed in three moments (baseline, 6th and 12th week). Results: Of the 144 women screened, 42 were selected to the study and randomized into one of the four groups. The groups of 150 and 210 min/week had lower TBARS values at the 12th week than the previous moments; increased thiol content values at the 6th week, returning to initial levels at the 12th week; and at the 12th week had significantly lower GPx activity than the control group. The control group had an increase of this activity at the 6th week, remaining at the 12th. At the 12th week, all SOD values of the exercise groups were lower than the control group, which had higher values at week 12 than other moments. ADA activity was increased in the group of 210 min/week at the 6th week, remaining at the 12th. BChE activity and IL-6 presented no differences. Conclusion: 150 min/week or more, for 12 weeks of concurrent training can reduce the oxidative stress in post-menopausal women.
