O objetivo desse trabalho foi analisar a trajetória da professora de educação infantil, no intuito de compreender como se deu este processo e como se consolidou esta profissão, tendo como base de análise as categorias feminização do magistério e o cuidar na educação infantil. Enquanto percurso metodológico, inicialmente foi feito um estudo bibliográfico com autores que se dedicam ao tema, com o intuito de compreender a relação da mulher com a docência a partir de como se deu o processo de femilização/feminizaçao do magistério. Como segundo momento, realizamos entrevistas com duas professoras atuantes na educação infantil. Na realização desta etapa, usamos um roteiro composto por 13 questões semiestruturadas. Pode-se considerar que os estudos sobre a profissão docente envolvem muitas questões, entre elas duas me chamaram mais atenção: a desvalorização da profissão por ter se feminizado e o impacto que causa um profissional do sexo masculino no ambiente escolar, mais especificamente, na educação infantil.
The objective of this work was to analyze the trajectory of the early childhood education teacher, in order to understand how this process took place and how this profession was consolidated, based on the category’s feminization of teaching and care in early childhood education. As a methodological path, initially a bibliographical study was carried out with authors who are dedicated to the theme, with the aim of understanding the relationship between women and teaching based on how the process of feminization/feminization of teaching took place. As a second moment, we conducted interviews with two teachers working in early childhood education. In carrying out this step, we used a questionnaire consisting of 13 semi- structured questions. It can be considered that studies on the teaching profession involve many issues, among them two that caught my attention: the devaluation of the profession for having become feminized and the impact that a male professional causes in the school environment, more specifically in early childhood education.
