A logística reversa está cada dia mais presente no cotidiano da sociedade com o intuito de dar destinação correta aos resíduos gerados no ciclo produtivo. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo descrever a prática de logística reversa de embalagens de agrotóxicos na agricultura familiar do assentamento Grota do Lage, no município de Xambioá-TO. Utilizou-se como metodologia para a coleta de dados a entrevistas semiestruturadas, tendo em vista compreender os procedimentos adotados pelos agricultores quanto à utilização e destinação das embalagens de agrotóxicos. Os resultados obtidos na pesquisa mostram que o processo é falho quanto à destinação das embalagens e precisa-se de ações voltadas para área de logística reversa no assentamento.

Reverse logistics has become increasingly present in our daily lives, in order to give proper destination to the waste generated in a productive cycle. This article objective to describe the reverse logistics practice of the pesticides packaging in the family farming at the Grota do Lage rural settlement, in the Xambioá-TO’s county. The semi structured interviews were used as methodology for data collection, in order to understand the procedures adopted by farmers regarding the use and destination of pesticide packaging. The results achived in the research show that there is flawed as to the destination of packaging and needs actions focused on reverse logistics airs in the settlement.
