O presente trabalho tem como objetivo geral compreender o impacto que o vírus Covid19 tem causado no setor aéreo e como objetivos específicos apresentar os procedimentos que as companhias aéreas têm adotado a fim de conter a disseminação do vírus durante esse período, além de expor números das principais companhias aéreas do Brasil e exibir perspectivas e cenários no setor aéreo durante e pós pandemia da COVID-19 a fim de responder o seguinte problema de pesquisa: Quais os impactos da pandemia no setor aéreo brasileiro? A pesquisa caracteriza-se como exploratória, com procedimento documental, por meio de dados produzidos por órgãos reguladores do setor aéreo, além de notícias para contextualizar o momento. Em função disto, foram analisadas as ações tomadas para garantir a segurança sanitária durante a prestação deste serviço. Ao terminar a pesquisa, nota-se a grande redução na demanda por voos desde o início da pandemia e os impactos causados nas companhias aéreas

The present work has as general objective to understand the impact that the Covid-19 virus has caused in the aerial sector and as specific objectives to present the procedures that the airlines have adopted in order to contain the spread of the virus during this period, in addition to exposing numbers of the main airlines in Brazil and show perspectives and scenarios in the air sector during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in order to answer the following research problem: What are the impacts of the pandemic on the Brazilian air sector? The research is characterized as exploratory, with documentary procedure, using data produced by regulatory bodies in the airline industry, in addition to news to contextualize the moment. As a result, the actions taken to guarantee health security during the provision of this service were analyzed. At the end of the survey, there is a great reduction in the demand for flights since the beginning of the pandemic and the impacts caused on airlines.
