O presente estudo teve como objetivo investigar as representações de corpo e de morte entre mulheres vivendo com HIV. Neste trabalho, tratou-se do corpo feminino e do estranho que o habita, além do estranho que a Aids evoca, ao desafiar a cultura e o saber científico. Metodologicamente, trabalhou-se através da via interdisciplinar, costurando-se elementos da Antropologia Interpretativa com a Psicanálise, relacionando o dito no discurso social com a dimensão inconsciente do sujeito. Foram entrevistadas três mulheres: Tininha, Dora e Brícia, que frequentavam uma instituição de assistência a pessoas vivendo com HIV. Explorou-se o entendimento do corpo e das sensações corporais, o lugar da família e da violência, a forma como a Aids desponta nos discursos analisados e a maneira como a Aids movimenta o laço social. Por fim, deparou-se na escuta com formas de ressignificação e reinvenção após o diagnóstico da doença.
The present study aimed to investigate the representations of body and death among women living with HIV. The paper considers the female body and the "uncanny" that inhabits it, as well as the "uncanny" that AIDS evokes when challenging culture and scientific knowledge. Methodologically, it was operated an interdiciplinary approach sewing elements of Interpretive Anthropology with Psychoanalysis, relating what was said, as a social discourse, with the unconscious dimension of the subject. Three women who attended a care institution for people living with HIV were interviewed: Tininha, Dora and Brícia. The dialogues was used to the understanding of body and body sensations, as well considers instances of family, violence and the way HIV emerges in the discourses and deeply influencing social bonds. Finally, the study reveals, throught the interviews, ways of resignification and reinvention after the positive diagnosis of the disease.
