O texto trata da relação entre a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional, bem como de seu desdobramento nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais, e a cultura contemporânea sob três aspectos: a visão ingênua predominante quanto à relação entre desenvolvimento tecnológico/educação; a tradução retórica da instituição família como parceira das práticas educativas; e, finalmente, a utilização da teoria dos sistemas aplicada ao âmbito do diagnóstico político-educacional. Resulta de um projeto de pesquisa maior em curso intitulado: Indústria cultural e processos formativos: subsídios para reflexão das novas demandas educacionais.

The text focuses on the relation between the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education, as well as its deployment in the National Curriculum, and contemporary culture in three aspects: the predominantly naive about the relation between technological development / education, the translation rhetoric about family’s institution as a partner of educational practices, and finally, the use of systems theory applied to the context of politicaleducational diagnosis. Results from a larger research project in progress titled "Cultural Industry and formative processes: Subsidies to reflect the new educational demmands”.
