Considering that multiconverter systems are widely used in various branches of industry, it is important to study and deploy new solutions that bring improvements to these systems. The use of transformers with special connections has been widely diffused in multiconverter systems because it allows for angular faults outside the usual ones that use transformers with delta and star connections. This work aims to demonstrate the possibility of making a twenty-four-pulse converter system using transformers with special connections (zigzag and extended delta) that could be implanted, for example, in a DC drive system. The main characteristics that must be studied of a transformer are the polarity and its angular lag, the latter, in the case of transformers with special connections with which we can obtain unusual angular deformations just by varying its tap, this variation is easily obtained by Fundamental trigonometric relationships. In theory, the ease of calculation for angular lag is proven in the laboratory, and would be best demonstrated using transformers with variable tap
