Esta pesquisa estuda a construção do personagem das drag queen, usando como base conceitos da Antropologia da Performance (TURNER, 1974) da Interpretação das Culturas (GEERTZ, 1989) . A maquiagem, as roupas, gestos e a corporalidade usados nesse processo serão descritos nessa pesquisa, buscando compreender se há regularidade, e observar características dessa expressão artística. Este personagem é constante na cena artística gay e possui uma variada gama de vertentes possíveis. As observações e vivências foram feitas entre 2013 e 2017 em Bauru-SP
This research study the construction of drag queen character, based on the concepts of Performance Anthropology (TURNER, 1974) of the Interpretation of Cultures (GEERTZ, 1989). The makeup, clothes, gestures and corporality used in this process will be described in this research, trying to understand if there is regularity, and to observe characteristics of this artistic expression. This character is constant in the gay art scene and has a wide range of possible strands. The observations and experiences were made between 2013 and 2017 in Bauru-SP
