And the Rest...an artistic examination enlightened by an artistic vision which holds the objective of apprehending Herberto Helder's work as a privileged domain of the rest. Work that highlights the Rest as resistance to codification. The Rest as a fragile space between subjectification and desubjectification, organic and inorganic, as a witness of the kairotic time. In three chapters loosely connected by the theme of the Rest, three perspectives are drawn about the work of the poet: his writings, his images, his heritage. A display that deals with the meaningful elements of the poet's literary trajectory, accentuating the belief in the poem as a creator of other worlds, the pathos that inhabits the images which firm themselves as refined ecphrases, the power of his inheritance, especially of the German romanticism that is the basis of the power of the tradition in his survival actualised. The essay format that shaped the present work was a choice based on the characteristics that are harmonious with Helder's work such as the freedom, the unfinishedness, the precariousness and, most importantly, a refusal to the conclusiveness. Herbert Helder's writing is to be read in its stains, smudges and the lack of precision of what is left: the Rest as an artistic problem in the poet's unique work

E o resto ... Uma indagação da arte iluminada sob o olhar de arte que obedece ao intuito de apreender a obra de Herberto Helder como reduto privilegiado do resto. Um trabalho que evidencia o resto como resistência à codificação. O resto como um espaço tênue entre a subjetivação e dessubjetivação, orgânico e inorgânico, testemunho do tempo kairótico. Em três capítulos unidos frouxamente pelo fio condutor do resto, se desenham três perspectivas no debruçar sobre o trabalho do poeta: a escrita, as imagens, a herança. Uma exposição que maneja com elementos significativos no percurso literário do poeta, salientando a crença no poema como criador de outro mundo, o páthos que habita as imagens que se firmam como écfrases refinadas e a força da herança, principalmente do romantismo alemão, que alicerça o poder da tradição em sua sobrevivência atualizada. A forma ensaística do presente trabalho foi uma escolha assentada nos atributos que se harmonizam com a obra herbertiana como liberdade, inacabamento, precariedade e, principalmente, repulsa ao conclusivo.
