Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a concepção de Hannah Arendt do trabalho na sociedade de trabalhadores/consumidores. Para tanto, o presente texto está dividido em três partes: primeiro capítulo introduzindo os conceitos chave de A Condição Humana, de Hannah Arendt, e, em seguida, dois outros capítulos dedicados, respectivamente, à relação entre trabalho-mundanidade e à análise do fenômeno do trabalho como um passatempo. Desse modo, serão apresentadas e discutidas as consequências da emancipação do trabalho em uma sociedade de trabalhadores.
This study aims at analyzing Hannah Arendt’s conception of labor in the laboring/consumer society. The present study is divided in two parts. The first chapter introduces the key-concepts of Hannah Arendt’s The Human Condition, while the remaining two chapters analyze the relation between labor and worldliness and the phenomenon of labor as a hobby, respectively. This study provides a presentation and a discussion of the consequences of the emancipation of labor in a society of laborers.
