Description
With the study of the choreographic installation Vestígios, proposed by Marta Soares, the notion of “collective” composition in dance is proposed, where humans and nonhumans have the possibility of becoming, co-creating sociomaterial arrangements and mobilizing respect for ways of life not hegemonic. The text was guided by feminist objectivity – “situated knowledge” – that opposes abstract universality, which enabled dialogue between “collective” composition and decoloniality. By placing the sand also as the protagonist of the artistic work, the text presents a writing composed by and constituting spatiality, temporality, memories and worlds that are incarnated in and with Vestígios.
