What is the role of global civil society towards the rights of the LGBTI community? This article seeks to map the main global civil society organizations that focus on the rights of the LGBTI population and their actions in the face of the recognition of sexual and reproductive rights. With the objective of collecting data for the construction of this work, a brief bibliographical review of the literature that has as object the performance of the civil society in the global level, the constructivist theory of International Relations and the concepts of transnational advocacy networks, besides documentary research in the reports made available by three civil society organizations and their official pages. A qualitative and descriptive approach is undertaken, using the analytical-descriptive method technique. It can be concluded that the performance of LGBTI transnational advocacy networks has been articulated through discursive manipulation towards international institutions.

Qual é a atuação da sociedade civil global frente aos direitos da comunidade LGBTI? Este artigo busca mapear as principais organizações da sociedade civil global que têm como pauta os direitos da população LGBTI e sua atuação frente ao reconhecimento dos direitos sexuais e reprodutivos. Com o objetivo da coleta de dados para a construção deste trabalho, foi realizada uma breve revisão bibliográfica da literatura que tem como objeto a atuação da sociedade civil a nível global, a teoria construtivista de Relações Internacionais e os conceitos de redes transnacionais de advocacy, além de uma pesquisa documental nos relatórios disponibilizados por três organizações da sociedade civil e de suas páginas oficiais. Empreende-se uma abordagem qualitativa e descritiva, utilizando-se da técnica do método analítico-descritivo. Pode-se concluir que a atuação das redes transnacionais de advocacyde temática LGBTI vem sido articulada através da manipulação discursiva frente às instituições internacionais.
