IC-Online, the Institutional Repository of Scientific Information at the University of Leiria and Oeste (ULO), is part of the RCAAP Project (Portuguese Open Access Scientific Repositories). Its main objectives are to organize, preserve, and disseminate ULO’s scientific output, thereby contributing to increased visibility and impact of the institution’s scientific publications. The IC-Online Repository includes various types of digital documents, such as articles from national and international scientific journals, papers presented at congresses and conferences, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations, among others. Materials that are predominantly pedagogical or curricular in nature, ephemeral in character, or subject to regular updates—and that do not present an original academic contribution or have not undergone a recognized process of scientific or academic validation—are not eligible for deposit in IC-Online.
