Transparent P(VDF-TrFE) transducer-based acoustic streaming for microfluidic applications
| Resumo: | This paper reports on a mixing system for microfluidic applications based on the acoustic streaming phenomenon. The system is based on an optimized piezoelectric transducer comprising a 25 μm thick poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene), P(VDF-TrFE), copolymer film with 85 nm thick electrodes of aluminium-doped zinc oxide (AZO). The system was tested for potential clinical applications allowing the quantification of nitrite and uric acid in blood. |
