Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This dissertation investigates sustainable practices of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) in Porto, Portugal. The research was in collaboration with the HAC4CG project (Heritage, Art, Creation for Climate Change) by CITAR - UCP, building on the cultural mapping previously developed by Ana Luísa Sousa and Luana Santos in 2022. These researchers produced individual dissertations entitled “Cultural mapping of the activities of artistic and cultural production in the city of Porto visual arts sector”, and “Mapeamento Cultural do setor das Artes Performativas na cidade do Porto”. The main aim of this research is to identify best practices in the field of cultural sustainability and sustainable development, tracing their development over time. In subsequent stages, the results will be contextualised in the specific context of CCIs in Porto. As a secondary objective, we intend to conduct interviews with a selection of companies to explore their understanding of the impact of climate change and the relevance of sustainable practices. This process will, in turn, make it possible to document the sustainable practices that these companies carry out. This research aims to inspire further analysis of the innovative relationship between sustainability and CCIs, considering the rapid development of technologies, materials, and mentalities. By deepening our understanding of sustainable practices in the specific context of CCIs and situating them in the landscape, this dissertation aims to shed light on the dynamic intersection of sustainability and creativity.
