Uma análise da investigação realizada em Portugal sobre quadros interactivos multimédia

Os quadros interactivos multimédia (QIM) constituíram uma das bandeiras da modernização tecnológicas das escolas no âmbito do Plano Tecnológico da educação (PTE). Decorridos três anos importa pois conhecer a forma como os QIM estão a ser utilizados. Quais são as vantagens e os constrangimentos à sua utilização? Quais as alterações metodológicas por eles provocadas? Como são percepcionadas por professores e alunos? Estão mais atentos os alunos nas aulas com QIM? Há melhorias ao nível do comportamento? Quais as repercussões ao nível das aprendizagens? Analisaremos as investigações sobre QIM realizadas desde 2007 até 2010. Na análise desses estudos tentaremos identificar os objectivos dos mesmos, as metodologias empregues, as dimensões das amostras e os principais resultados e conclusões. Foram analisadas onze investigações presentes nos repositórios de universidades portuguesas. Na maioria das investigações realizadas percepcionam-se alterações metodológicas, melhorias ao nível da atenção, do comportamento e das aprendizagens.

Multimedia Interactive Boards (MIB) have been one of the key points of the schools’ technological modernization within the Technological Plan for Education (TPE). Three years after its settlement it is important to assess the way MIB are being used. What are the advantages and restraints of such application? What has indeed changed in terms of methods? How are MIB regarded both by teachers and students? Are students actually paying more attention in classes due to the use of MIB? Are there any significant improvements regarding behavior? What are in fact the repercussions and implications on the learning level? We aim at analysing the research’s outcome on MIB performed between the years of 2007 and 2010. Through the analysis of those data, we intend to indentify its goals, the methods used, the dimension of the samples and the main results and conclusions. Eleven investigations have been submitted to analysis, all of them available in the repositories of Portuguese Universities. In most of the research analysis, we were able to notice changes in method and significant improvements in terms of attention, behavior and learning skills.
