The effects of Cd on growth, tissue accumulation and root exudates in sorghum and maize, grown in nutrient solution with Cadmium (Cd), were investigated in order to get a further insight into the mechanisms of plant tolerance to Cd and the risks associated with terrestrial food-chain contamination.
