The Editorial Team of estrema: interdisciplinary journal of humanities is pleased to present the second issue of its third volume: “Echoes of Life and Death: Interdisciplinary and Intermedia Perspectives.” The theme seeks to unravel the relationship between existence and mortality, and all the realities that fit into this not exclusively dichotomous dynamic, examining how these forces shape our understanding of the arts, humanities, social sciences, and even the world. Life and death, though seemingly opposite, coexist in a continuous cycle that influences various facets of human experience, from philosophical inquiries and artistic expressions to sociocultural dynamics and ecological considerations.
A Equipa Editorial da revista estrema: revista interdisciplinar de humanidades tem o prazer de apresentar o segundo número do seu terceiro volume: “Ecos de Vida e de Morte: Perspectivas Interdisciplinares e Intermedia”. O tema procura desvendar a relação entre existência e mortalidade, e todas as realidades que se enquadram nesta dinâmica não exclusivamente dicotómica, examinando como essas forças moldam a nossa compreensão das artes, das humanidades, das ciências sociais e mesmo do mundo. Vida e morte, embora aparentemente contrárias, coexistem num ciclo contínuo que influencia várias facetas da experiência humana, desde investigações filosóficas e expressões artísticas até dinâmicas socioculturais e considerações ecológicas.
