O ENVOLVIMENTO DOS PAIS NA EDUCAÇÃO CÍVICA DAS CRIANÇAS COMO PROMOTOR DO DESENVOLVIMENTO DE UM CARÁTER RESPONSÁVEL

Este artigo resulta de um percurso investigativo decorrente de um relatório de estágio para obtenção do grau de mestre. O objeto de estudo tem por objetivo compreender em que medida o envolvimento dos pais na educação das crianças promove a sua responsabilidade fomentando um caráter responsável. Utilizou-se a variável pontualidade para compreender os fenómenos observados deste ato cívico e como este aspeto está implícito no desenvolvimento do valor responsabilidade na criança. Para compreensão da temática recorreu-se à observação direta dos intervenientes do processo investigativo registando os fenómenos observados, refletindo acerca dos mesmos com as educadoras e professoras e fazendo pesquisa documental.  Por último recorreu-se à entrevista semiestruturada, entrevistando as profissionais de educação e perceber quais as suas conceções sobre a pontualidade e de que forma cidadania e caráter se completam. Realizou-se a análise dos dados e aferiu-se que a pontualidade é um fator preponderante não só no desenvolvimento do valor responsabilidade na criança, como também é um extensor da educação cívica e dos valores do meio envolvente que devem ter continuidade para o meio educativo e social em geral. Conclui-se ainda, que cidadania e caráter são indissociáveis.

This article results from an investigative course resulting from a traineeship report to obtain the master's degree. The purpose of this study is to understand the extent to which the involvement of parents in the education of children promotes their responsibility by fostering a responsible character. The variable punctuality was used to understand the observed phenomena of this civic act and how this aspect is implicit in the development of the value of responsibility in the child. To understand the thematic, we used the direct observation of the participants in the investigative process, recording the phenomena observed, reflecting on them with the educators and doing documentary research. Finally, we used the semi-structured interview, interviewing education professionals and understanding their conceptions about punctuality and how citizenship and character are completed. Data analysis was performed and it was verified that punctuality is a preponderant factor not only in the development of the responsibility value in the child, but also an extension of civic education and values ​​of the surrounding environment that must have continuity for the educational environment and social in general. It is also concluded that citizenship and character are inseparable.
