Risk behaviors for health: knowledge and behaviors of a group of citizens from Lamego
Description
This study investigates the knowledge and health risk behaviors of adults residing in Lamego. A quantitative, descriptive-exploratory study was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire distributed to a convenience sample of 35 individuals aged between 18 and 65. The results indicate that, despite satisfactory knowledge regarding factors such as sleep patterns, nutrition, and sexual behaviors, discrepancies persist between what is known and daily practices. Consequently, developing effective strategies to promote behavioral changes and reinforce healthy practices is essential.
