This work sought to identify correlations between the poetic image and the plastic image in the book Vôo sem pássaro dentro - poetry by Adolfo Casais Monteiro, ten drawings by Fernando Lemos. In this sense, the modernist journal Presença and Júlio Pereira's plastic experimentation were taken as a basis, identifying the survival of theoretical-aesthetic and plastic principles in Fernando Lemos' proposal. It was concluded that words and plastic images formed visual and imagistic intersections in the book, but also were an artistic experience also converging on the same surface.
