O presente artigo tem por base uma prática artística realizada na Escola Superior de Educação de Viana do Castelo (ESEVC) através do projeto “Vivências Artísticas”. Será apresentada uma justificação teórica que suporta o projeto e a descrição detalhada para a sua implementação. O projeto surgiu para assinalar o dia Mundial da Criança através das Artes. Tem como objetivo promover condições para que as crianças, que visitam a ESEVC nesse dia, desfrutem e vivenciem de atividades artísticas inovadoras e motivantes para as diferentes faixas etárias. São planificados diversos momentos artísticos ao longo do ano letivo com os estudantes da ESEVC em diversas unidades curriculares para, por um lado, levar as crianças a adquirirem diferentes vivências artísticas e fomentar o espírito crítico e criativo, por outro lado, sensibilizar os estudantes para a importância do papel das artes na formação integral do individuo e do trabalho em equipa na consolidação dos conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo da sua formação através da aplicação prática de atividades ligadas às artes. ABSTRACT The present article is based on an artistic practice carried out at the Higher School of Education of Viana do Castelo (ESEVC) through the project "Vivências Artísticas". It will be presented the theoretical justification that supports the project and a detailed description for its implementation. This project arose to mark the Child International Day through Arts. Its purpose is to give conditions to the children who visit the ESEVC on that day permitting them to enjoy and experience artistic activities that are innovative and motivating for their different age groups. Several artistic moments are planned throughout the scholar year within the ESEVC students in the several curricular units, on the one hand, to lead the children to acquire different artistic experiences and to foster the critical and creative spirit; on the other hand, to promote the students awareness about the important role of the arts in the overall formation of the person and the teamwork importance on consolidating the knowledge acquired during their formation through the practical application of activities related to the arts.
