The production of Didactic Material (MD), regarding media and mediation in distance learning courses, is a great concern for this learning modality. Therefore, this article includes the production of digital content in the list of complexities inherent to digital language, which creates the culture of collaborative production in convergent media. This work also deals with its impacts on teacher training. Thus, we conclude that networking in convergent media breaks with a system of representation of particular intellectual production and shows that the main challenge to be overcome - especially by teachers/authors, is to deal with the expansion of human interactions in a simultaneous relationship of space and time in the digital space.

O contexto de produção do Material Didático (MD), no que confere à mídia e à mediação em cursos a distância representam fortes segmentos dessa modalidade educacional. Com base nisso, este artigo discute a produção do MD no rol de complexidades inerentes à linguagem digital estruturante da cultura da produção colaborativa em mídia convergente e os impactos gerados na formação docente. Conclui-se que o trabalho em rede, em mídia convergente, rompe com um sistema de representação particular de produção intelectual e mostra que o principal desafio a ser superado, sobretudo por parte do professor-autor, consiste em saber lidar com a ampliação das interações humanas numa relação simultânea de espaço e tempo em espaço digital.
