The principal objective is to identify the ideas of womem in reference to health, using as a starting point the general consensus of the Social Representation. The study was based on a triangular methodology - participant observation, lengthy interviews and the dynamics of life study and body modeling with clay. This made the knowledge of sets of experiments in health at the individual and family levei possible. The results obtained from the content of the study describe some the Social Representations of health in various phases of life: infancy, adolescence, adult life and/or maturity, and old age It is in this movement of passing from one phase to another that socially elaboreted empirical categories are identified, elaboreted, shared as a whole, and related to the past, present, and projected towards the future.

Tendo como objetivo principal identificar a fala das mulheres no que se refere à saúde a partir das Representações Sociais do senso comum, a pesquisa foi estruturada baseada numa triangulação metodológica - a observação participante, a entrevista de longa duração e as dinâmicas linha da vida e modelagem do corpo com massa, que possibilitou conhecer espaços de experiências em saúde à nivel individual e familiar. Os resultados conseguidos na análise de conteúdo descrevem algumas das Representações Sociais de saúde nas diversas fases da vida: infância, adolescência, vida adulta e /ou maturidade e velhice. E é neste movimento de passagem de uma fase a outra que são identificadas as categorias empíricas socialmente elaboradas, partilhadas e relacionadas com o passado, presente e projeção para o futuro.
