A utilização das Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação (TIC), presentes num mundo globalizado, tem vindo a aumentar exponencialmente na atual “Sociedade de Informação”, o que veio proporcionar avanços tecnológicos e transformações que influenciaram amplamente a educação a todos os níveis. Com este avanço significativo, tornou-se fundamental a integração das TIC nas escolas e a inclusão de recursos tecnológicos digitais no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem. A investigação centrou-se nas potencialidades da utilização em contexto educativo do “QR Code” no 1.º Ciclo de Ensino Básico. Como tal, os principais objetivos desta investigação assentaram na promoção da utilização da aplicação digital “QR Code” nas aprendizagens do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, na implementação da utilização do “QR Code” no âmbito da área curricular do Português, na avaliação do contributo da aplicação digital “QR Code” no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem e na análise das opiniões dos alunos e da Orientadora Cooperante relativamente ao contributo e ao impacto do “QR Code” na área curricular do Português. Esta investigação foi desenvolvida na Prática de Ensino Supervisionada no 1º CEB com uma turma de alunos do 4º ano de escolaridade da Escola Básica Faria de Vasconcelos de Castelo Branco. Por forma a dar resposta à questão central da investigação e aos objetivos estipulados, foi desenvolvida uma investigação de natureza qualitativa que recaiu numa investigação-ação. Assim sendo, foram utilizadas técnicas de recolha de dados como a observação participante, notas de campo, registos fotográficos, inquérito por questionário e a entrevista semiestruturada. Após a recolha, tratamento e análise dos dados aferiu-se que o uso da aplicação digital “QR Code”, como recurso pedagógico, foi um elemento decisivo para a melhoria do desenvolvimento do vocabulário dos alunos, da produção textual, mais concretamente na redação das sinopses, na compreensão da leitura, na cooperação com os outros e no interesse sentido dos alunos perante o processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Além disso, o projeto desenvolvido com a Biblioteca Escolar foi uma mais-valia, pois permitiu aos alunos a produção de materiais que demonstraram o que são capazes, valorizando as suas aprendizagens. Deste modo, cresceu neles um sentimento de orgulho e confiança, ao serem autores dos seus próprios “QR Codes”
The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), present in a globalized world, has been exponentially increased in the current “Information Society”, which has provided technological advances and transformations that have greatly influenced education at all levels. With this significant advance, the integration of ICT in schools and the inclusion of digital technological resources in teaching and learning process became fundamental. The research focused on the potential use of the QR Code in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. As such, the main objectives of this research were based on the promotion of the QR Code in the 1st cycle of Basic Education, on the implementation of the use of the QR Code within the curricular area of Portuguese subject, on the evaluation from the contribution of the digital application QR Code in the teaching and learning process and on the analysis of the opinions of the students and Cooperating Adviser regarding the contribution and impact of the QR Code in the curricular area of Portuguese. This research was developed on the Supervised Teaching Practice in the 1st CEB with a group of students of the 4th year of schooling at Escola Faria de Vasconcelos of Castelo Branco. In order to respond the central question of the research and the stipulated objectives, a study of the qualitative nature has been developed to research-action modality. Therefore, data collection techniques such as participant observation, field notes, photographic records, questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview were used. After the collection, treatment and analysis of data, it was verified that the use of the digital application QR Code, as a pedagogical resource, was a decisive element for the improvement of students’ vocabulary development, of textual production, more concretely in the writing of the synopses, in reading comprehension, in cooperation with others and in the students’ sense of interest on the teaching and learning process. In addition, the project developed with the School Library was an added value, as it allowed the students to produce materials that demonstrated what they are capable, valuing their learning. In this way, has grown on them a feeling of pride and confidence, when being authors of their own QR Codes.
