Neste artigo defende-se a possibilidade e a necessidade do ensino escolar da recepção estético-literária de obras produzidas nos campos das artes e da literatura. Inicialmente são analisadas, com base em Georg Lukács e Lev Vigotski, algumas relações entre a arte e o processo de desenvolvimento do gênero humano e de cada indivíduo. Na sequência, polemizando com a já antiga contraposição entre ensinar e educar, é explorada a discussão feita por Antonio Gramsci sobre o ensino gramatical de latim e grego na escola tradicional. No artigo conclui-se seu percurso analisando a formação deliberada e sistemática da recepção estético-literária na educação escolar a partir de estudos realizados por Aleksei N. Leontiev sobre o processo de apropriação da cultura pelo indivíduo.
In this article are defended the possibility and the necessity of the teaching of the reception of art works in school education. Firstly, some relations between art and the development of both the human species and the individual are analysed in Georg Lukács and Lev Vygotsky’s works. In order to put in question the old assumption that opposes education and instruction, the discussion made by Gramsci on the grammatical teaching of Latin and Greek in the traditional school education is explored. In the article is concluded its path analysing the intentional and systematic formation of the reception of art works provided by school education based on Aleksei N. Leontiev’s works on the appropriation process of culture by the individual.
