Com este texto, pretende-se proceder a uma leitura da obra Luísa As histórias da minha vida (Porto Editora, 2020), de Luísa Ducla Soares, à luz da teoria literária acerca da autobiografia. Escassamente presente na literatura portuguesa para a infância e juventude, este género, situado no âmbito das escritas do eu, tem merecido alguma atenção por parte da autora em causa. Assim, depois de uma breve revisitação de alguns desses seus textos (auto)biográficos, centramos a atenção nas singularidades da obra supramencionada, destacando os seus elementos definidores, em concreto no que diz respeito às temáticas, ao autor empírico e textual e à linguagem e ao estilo.

The aim of this paper is to analyze Luísa. As histórias da minha vida (Porto Editora, 2020) by Luísa Ducla Soares through the lens of literary theories on autobiography. Although scarcely explored in Portuguese children’s and youth literature, the genre of autobiography, which centers on writing about the self, has nonetheless received attention from the author. After providing a brief overview of some of her (auto)biographical works, the analysis will focus on the particularities of the aforementioned text, emphasizing its defining characteristics, with particular regard to themes, the empirical and textual authors, as well as language and style.
