This work characterizes levels of main air pollutants in a preschool environment (3-5-years old children). The main gaseous pollutants, namely Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs), formaldehyde, carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), and ozone (O-3) were concurrently measured indoors and outdoors for 22 consecutive days at a preschool situated in urban zone of Chaves in north of Portugal. The results showed that with exception to TVOCs, levels of all indoor pollutants were below legislative guidelines.
