Study of the formation of lignin-based polyurethanes

Resumo:The main objective of this work was to study the reactivity of lignin with isocyanates in the presence of a polyesther as the flexible segment. The course of the polymerization reaction was followed by FTIR working in the ATR mode. The decay in the isocyanate absorbance was measured during 30 minutes at a temperature of 80 ºC.
