Entidades de Gestão Florestal
| Resumo: | RESUMO A floresta é o elemento predominante da paisagem no Concelho de Cantanhede, abrangendo 66% da área concelhia (24 724ha). As espécies mais significativas são o pinheiro bravo (Pinus pinaster) e o eucalipto (Eucalyptus globulus) que ocorrem normalmente sob a forma de povoamentos puros, com objetivo de produção, excetuando-se apenas o caso das dunas com função de proteção. A ocorrência de grandes fogos florestais e a variação nas áreas de corte raso podem mudar em poucos anos o uso/ocupação do solo dentro das áreas florestais. Aliado a estes fatores também surgem novas plantações de espécies florestais, por parte de pequenos proprietários florestais, sendo estas ainda significativas nos últimos anos. Sendo que o pinheiro bravo e o eucalipto ocupam cerca de 79% da área do concelho. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo, analisar a rendibilidade da área florestal do concelho de Cantanhede. Para a sua análise de rendibilidade, esta área será dividida por povoamentos florestais, dos quais serão analisados consoante a sua classe de aptidão na área do concelho. A elaboração dos cenários teve em conta a forma de gestão das áreas florestais e as áreas de ocupação de um conjunto de espécies florestais na atualidade e as previstas para o futuro no Plano Regional de Ordenamento Florestal do Centro Litoral. Para poder completar a análise considerou-se ainda, a área mínima proposta pelo Regime Jurídico de Reconhecimento das Entidades de Gestão Florestal dos ativos sob gestão, considerando também a certificação florestal desses ativos, aspeto este importante para o reconhecimento das EGF. Concluindo, as Entidades de Gestão Florestal ser relativamente recente, estas serão com certeza uma mais-valia para a floresta não só a nível local com a nível nacional. Contudo, existem sempre riscos associados à sua constituição, como tal, será necessário futuramente analisar casos reais de modo a compreender melhor qual o papel que elas poderão ter na exploração e gestão florestal a nível local e nacional. ABSTRACT The forest is the dominant element of the landscape in the municipality of Cane, covering 66% of the district area (24 724ha). The most significant species are the pine (Pinus pinaster) and the Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) that normally occur in the form of pure settlements, with the purpose of production, except only the case of dunes with protection function. The occurrence of large forest fires and the variation in the areas of shallow cutting can change in a few years the use/occupation of the soil within the forest areas. Allied to these factors also arise new plantations of forest species, on the part of small forest owners, and these are still significant in recent years. The Pine Bravo and eucalyptus occupy about 79% of the area of the county. The objective of this work is to analyze the profitability of the forestry area of the municipality of Cane. For your profitability analysis, this area will be divided by forest settlements, of which will be analyzed according to your class of fitness in the area of the county. The elaboration of the scenarios took into account the form of management of the forest areas and the areas of occupation of a set of forest species in the present and the planned for the future in the Regional plan of forest planning of the coastal centre. In order to be able to complete the analysis, the minimum area proposed by the legal system for the recognition of the forest management entities of the assets under management, considering also the forest certification of these assets, is an important aspect for the recognition of the EGF. In conclusion, the forest management entities are relatively recent, these will certainly be an asset to the forest not only at local level with national level. However, there are always risks associated with its constitution, as such, it will be necessary in future to analyse real cases in order to better understand what role they may have in forest exploration and management at local and national level.
