Relação entre perfis psicopatológicos de adolescentes e reacções contratransferenciais em contexto psicoterapêutico
| Resumo: | A Contratransferência, tem sido gradualmente reconhecida pelo seu papel crucial no processo psicoterapêutico e em particular, no trabalho com Adolescentes, cujo fenómeno é particularmente notório, devido à interação com adolescentes e seus familiares, que fazem emergir respostas contratransferenciais mais intensas e complexas nos psicoterapeutas, comparativamente ao trabalho com adultos. O objectivo deste trabalho, é testar as correlações existentes entre os perfis contratransferenciais dos psicoterapeutas no trabalho com adolescentes, em função dos perfis psicopatológicos dos pacientes. Esperamos que 1) as psicopatologias de Externalização (YSR), estejam associadas com Perfis Contratransferenciais Negativos e 2) as psicopatologias de internalização (YSR) estejam associadas a perfis contratransferenciais positivos. Os participantes deste estudo são constituídos por dois grupos: o primeiro foi formado por 8 psicoterapeutas, aos quais foi aplicado o Countertransference Questionnaire (CTQ) – adaptado à população portuguesa por Gomes (2008), após a 5ª sessão com o/a paciente. O segundo grupo foi constituído por 48 adolescentes, com idades compreendidas entre os 11 e os 18 anos, com uma média de 15.2 anos, dos quais 23 eram rapazes, tendo sido aplicado o questionário Youth Self Report, na fase de avaliação psicológica (entre a 1ª e a 3ª sessão). Verificou-se uma maioria de correlações positivas significativas entre as escalas de ambos os instrumentos. Este estudo aponta para uma correlação significativa entre os factores contratransferenciais e diversas psicopatologias de internalização e externalização. ------- ABSTRACT ---- Countertransference has been gradually recognized for it’s fundamental role in psychoanalytic process, particularly in the work with Adolescents, where this phenomenon is much more intense and complex in comparison to the work with Adults; because of the interaction that takes place with adolescents and their families. The aim of this study, is to test the correlations between the psychotherapist’s countertransference profiles, in their work with adolescents, and the syndromes profiles of the patients. We hope that 1) the externalization syndromes (YSR) will be correlated with negative countertransference profiles (CTQ) and 2) the internalized syndromes will be associated with positive countertransference profiles. The participants of this study, were 8 psychotherapists and 48 adolescents with ages between 12 and 18, (with a mean of 15.2 years, which 23 of them were boys), constituting two groups. To the first group, i.e., the 8 psychotherapists, was applied the Countertransference Questionnaire, after the 5th session with the patients. To the second group, i.e., the 48 adolescents, was applied the Youh Self Report, while the psychological evaluation occurred (between the 1st and the 3rd sessions). In the present work, a majority of positive significant correlations were verified between the scales of both instruments. This current study, suggests a significant correlation between the countertransference factores and the varied internalized / externalized psychopathologies. |
