Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Fiction has a highlighted position in figuration studies, due to the room designed for the character: in fiction it rules absolutely through the reading pact, where the reader assumes that the diegetic world imagined by a real author is something true. However, we believe that a study in semantics of non-fiction “ associated with communication studies that treat journalistic discourse as narrative “ may contribute for a new understanding about the issue of the character. Is it possible to approach the notion of source’(in the case of long reportages) with the notion of character’? Is it possible to use the category metalepsis’when speaking about journalistic sources? In order to get along with these issues, we will focus on comic journalism, a new field placed between journalism and fiction. Using a specific example (the reportage So close, faraway), we will discuss notions like semi-anonymity’and figuration of the source’. Furthermore, we will compare (and fade them, if it is the case) the potentialities and the limits of the fictional and non-fictional discourses.
