A systematic review on the effects of yoga in mental health

Resumo:Positive psychology is changing the way we research mental health in western society, bringing a focus to practices more than 5,000 years old in eastern culture, specifically with roots in India, such as yoga. Objectives: The aim of this paper is to explore documented effects of yoga on mental health, through a systematic review of literature (independently of year of publication, country or language).
