Defining a media literacy policy through networking

Resumo:Paraphrasing what Ortega y Gasset said a hundred years ago, we are what we are plus our circumstances. We make the circumstances, and we are made by them. Therefore, this text's approach to media literacy policies begs a careful analysis of the socio-cultural and political context of their development. Specifically con­sidered are public policies, with the Portuguese case as the object of analysis of the socio-cultural and political context of their development.
