Resumo:This article focuses on the collective project Relógios de Sol. Inventário de um património esquecido [Sundials. Inventory of a forgotten heritage], setting out its objectives, scope of action and research, together with the undertaken outreach activities, placing particular emphasis upon studies on Portuguese gnomonic and an inventoried collection of sundials. A research that aims at recognizing the collection of Portuguese sundials and drawing attention to questions that such artefacts pose within the domains of Geometry, Astronomy and Art History.
