The leveraged buyout of Inwido - capital structure

Resumo:This work project was conducted by three students and takes the form of an Investment Committee Paper proposing the leveraged buyout of Inwido, a Sweden-based company that operates, manufactures, and sells windows and doors across Europe. The company was valued at an 8.4x EV/EBITDA multiple and is set to be acquired under an earnout, with 80% of the equity being paid at entry and 20% in 2025. Under the proposed business plan, the investment case yields an IRR of 26.3% and a MM of 3.8x. The individual contribution elaborates on the process of defining the capital structured of Inwido’s LBO.
